Great Lakes Pilot Study

The USGS has embarked on a pilot study of water availability in the US portion of the Great Lakes Basin. The Pilot focuses on developing the understanding of the dynamics of the water resources in the basin in terms of the flows and yield of water in both ground and surface water. The Pilot also seeks to illustrate the importance of water-use data to quantifying water availability. Read more about the Great Lakes Pilot at: http://water.usgs.gov/wateravailability/greatlakes/
