Project Summary: Technology transfer activities inform state and local agencies concerned with the management of water resources about the capabilities and activities of the academic community in order that these agencies might incorporate WRRC research results and expertise to better manage such resources. The project concentrates on disseminating results of research projects conducted by University of Hawaii researchers. Means of communication include seminars, bulletins, public presentations, one-on-one communication, conferences and workshops. In 2003-04, special attention will be given to the UH WRRC web page and to development of a specialty conference. In addition to research dissemination, the Technology Transfer Office provides basic water information to the interested public and assists other organizations in the fulfillment of similar missions.
