Abstract: The Technology Transfer program of the Hawaii Water Resources Research Center disseminates and promotes the results of Center research projects through seminars, workshops, conferences and other public presentations; the production of newsletters; and maintaining the Center's web site. These activities inform state and local agencies concerned with the management of water resources about the capabilities and activities of the academic community, in order that these agencies might take advantage of our expertise to better manage such resources. In addition to research dissemination, the Technology Transfer office provides basic water information to the interested public, and assists other organizations in the fulfillment of similar missions.
