Abstract
In this project, surface moisture conditions will be estimated by calculating the ratio between NDVI and LST. Although our focus is to use these measurements as an indication of drought, these measurements may also be an effective indicator of other potential disasters such as flooding.
The overall goal of this project will be to evaluate methods to use remotely sensed data to estimate surface moisture conditions as an indication of drought.
