Abstract: The Delaware Water Resources Center will provide two graduate fellowships that support projects addressing water quality, water supply, or water resource policy. These fellowships will provide a unique opportunity for graduate students and faculty to become directly involved in multi-disciplinary research that will contribute to the scientific basis for state policy decisions on water resources. Fellowships are supported up to a maximum of three years provided satisfactory progress toward project objectives is maintained. Graduate Fellows are required to (i) make a presentation each year describing their progress at a meeting that will be organized by the Delaware Water Resources Center; (ii) prepare an annual report that summarizes their accomplishments and submit it to the Delaware Water Resources Center. The request for proposals for these fellowships will be issued in January of 2003. Proposals will be reviewed by the DWRC Advisory Panel in May of 2003 and graduate students may begin their projects in June of 2003.
