Abstract: This project will result in a better understanding of the impacts of various conservation measures and alternative water supplies on the recharge to aquifers and volumes of water stored in aquifers. Local communities and water users will be better able to understand how their multiple-objective water planning and management decisions impact their aquifers. Water managers will be better able to base their cost management decisions for implementation of conservation measures or alternative water supplies on this information.
