Abstract

Information transfer is an important area of emphasis of the South Dakota Water Resources Institute (SD WRI). It emanates from the philosophy that the Institute is ultimately responsible for providing assistance to the public that funds it. Consequently, information dissemination is emphasized and encouraged, as an integral part of all program efforts. Information transfer at the SD WRI includes activities in public outreach, interaction with State and Federal agencies, youth education, and Institute publications.
