Abstract
There is growing national interest in watershed level restoration projects. Pennsylvania has recently begun the Growing Greener initiative to enhance such efforts. Much of the focus of the Growing Greener program is on acid water mitigation. The proposed project will produce a handy reference for watershed groups to use in the initial planning of acid water mitigation projects. The publication will include information on the types and applications of the many different acid water mitigation techniques available. This information will educate users about acid water treatment methods and allow watershed groups to easily compare available options.
