Abstract

The Center will provide summer research assistantships for 3 graduate students. Assistantships will be awarded competitively on the basis of proposals submitted by the students themselves. Because the Center has a goal of broadening its research activities, priority will be given to proposals in fields previously under-represented in the Center's research portfolio (e.g. socio- economic, ecological, policy and land-use studies).
