Maps of water use in the U.S. in 1990

This page allows you to browse through color 'choropleth' maps of water-use for 1990 by State. Choropleth maps classify the displayed data values into ranges and assign different colors to the ranges. For example, all states having a data value of 1-100 might be blue, and states having a data value of 100-200 might be green, etc. These maps are useful in giving you a quick visualization of how water-use is distributed throughout the states.
