Oklahoma StreamStats Application Information

General Information

Project area general description

The state of Oklahoma

Are any areas excluded?

Basin characteristics and streamflow statistics cannot be computed along main stems of the largest river systems in the state, namely the Arkansas, Canadian, Cimarron, Neosho, Red, and Verdigris Rivers, because parts of the drainage areas extend outside of the processed hydrologic units.

Types of flow statistics available

Peak-flow and flow-duration statistics, statewide

ArcGIS version used for processing

9.2

Was TopoGrid used to process DEMs?

No

DEM and derivatives projection (general description)

USA_Contiguous_Albers_Equal_Area_Conic_USGS_version, horizontal datum NAD83, vertical datum NAVD 88

DEM and derivatives (fdr, fac, etc.) resolution

10 meters

DEM source

National Elevation Dataset (NED, 2006) http://ned.usgs.gov

Hydrography source

National Hydrography Dataset, high-resolution (NHD, 2008; 1:24,000 scale)

Hydrologic unit "walls" source

Watershed Boundary Dataset (WBD, 2006)

Gage basin boundaries source

Not used

Interactive map snapping tolerance

4 cells

Basin characteristics computed using continuous parameter grids (CPGs)

BSLDEM10M, CANOPY_PCT, CONTDA, DAUNREG, ELEV, IMPNLCD01, PRECIP, SOILPERM

Edit Basin Function

Disabled because CONTDA and DAUNREG are not available except as CPGs
