The Office of Surface Water sponsored a workshop to learn about the state-of-the-art production and Web delivery of flood-plain inundation maps in the Division and elsewhere held at the National Training Center in Denver, CO on Nov. 27-28, 2001. The Workshop was sponsored by the Office of Surface Water. The workshop focused on Web delivery and near real-time aspects. The workshop discussed the Survey's role in providing flood-plain inundation map products, learned from those offices with active programs in this area, and evaluated products and options for optimal programs that will be of help to other Districts and their cooperators.
The workshop was held in the Snowmass Room at the National Training Center.
