Drainage area: 1,502 square miles.
Location: In SW1/4 SW1/4 NW1/4 sec.35, T.12 S., R.14 W., Russell County, on left bank at downstream side of bridge on U.S. Highway 281, 2.0 mi downstream from Salt Creek, 5.0 mi north of Russell, and at mile 190.6.
Period of Record: October 1945 to September 1953, June 1959 to current year. REVISIONS.--The maximum dischargs for the water years 1989 and 1991 have been revised to 653 ft3/sec, July 1, 1989, gage height, 8.10 ft, and 479 ft3/sec, June 1, 1991, gage height 7.13 ft, superseding figures published in reports for 1898 and 1991.
Gage Information: Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 1,551.59 ft above sea level. Prior to Jan. 22, 1946, nonrecording gage at same site and datum.
