Location: Greene County, on left bank at bridge on State Highway 123 at Hookerton, and 2.2 mi upstream from Wheat Swamp Creek.
Period of Record: November 1928 to current year. WSP 1503: 1951. WSP 1723: 1932. WDR NC-90-1: Drainage area.
Gage Information: Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 14.85 ft above sea level (U.S. Army Corps of Engineers bench mark). Prior to Nov. 26, 1934, nonrecording gage at site 1,400 ft upstream and Nov. 27, 1934, to Sept. 30, 1987, water-stage recorder at site 0.3 mi upstream at present datum. Satellite telemetry at station.
