Key Tasks: Collects and analyzes samples collected from the Bemidji oil spill site and the Norman Landfill site. Analysis includes field parameters of pH, specific conductance, and downhole water temp, as well as analysis of dissolved oxygen, ammonia, hydrogen sulfides, major cations, anions, alkalinities, organic acids and methane. Conducts push-pull tests and small-scale tracer tests to probe in situ microbial degradation rates in the determination of organic acids by ion chromatography.
