Denitrification - study sites
The Iroquois River and Sugar Creek watersheds are both heavily impacted by agriculture; more than 90% of each drainage basin is devoted to farming. The rivers differ in size, drainage area, discharge, mean depth, suspended sediment loads, and bed sediment characteristics.
