Nitrate Concentration and Denitrification Rates
Denitrification rates (DNF) were determined using membrane inlet mass spectrometry (MIMS).
Average denitrification rates were correlated with in stream nitrate concentrations in both reaches. However, denitrification rates were more variable in Sugar Creek (blue) compared to those of the Iroquois River (red).
