Pesticide occurrence was related to land use and aquifer confinement

Pesticide occurrence was related to land use and aquifer confinement. Samples from unconfined aquifers in agricultural, urban, or mixed land use areas account for the majority of the detections of atrazine and deethylatrazine. The illustration shown is based upon figure 34 of SIR 2008-5240.
