Nitrate by confinement category

Nitrate concentrations were significantly higher in unconfined aquifers. Only a single sample from a confined aquifer had nitrate concentrations that exceeded 10 milligrams per liter as N. The illustration shown is based upon figure 20 of SIR 2008-5240.
