Laboratories and equipment at the HIF can be used to perform calibrations of various instruments and devices. These include mechanical current meters, water-quality sensors, suspended-sediment samples and tipping-bucket rain gages. In addition to calibrations, the HIF can evaluate and verify the performance of a wide variety of instruments and equipment.
