The mission of the EPA is to protect human health and the environment. Since 1970, EPA has been working for a cleaner, healthier environment for the American people. EPA has Web sites about water and Resources in Spanish.

This Web site is a translation of the USGS Water Science for Schools Web site, and is a result of a cooperative project between the USGS and EPA.
