Summary of PBCGEN

NAME
pbcgen - SUTRA utility program to generate hydrostatic
                pressure distribution

ABSTRACT
PBCGEN is an auxiliary program to generate the hydrostatic pressure
distribution based on a column of water with concentrations
specified as a function of depth. The pressures computed may be
directly used as input in the SUTRA unit-K1 data file for the
pressure data along a vertical (or oblique) boundary of a cross-
       sectional mesh.

DATA REQUIREMENTS
PBCGEN prompts for the following values and then reads, free-format,
from the standard input unit (normally the keyboard) values of
concentration of seawater as a fraction of pure seawater of each
node progressing downwards along a hydrostatic boundary:

NNCOL = Number of nodes in column
N(1) = Node number at top of column
COLCON = Maximum saltwater chloride concentration
P(1) = Abient pressure at top of column
INCNOD = Increment in node number going down column
RHO0 = Water density at zero concentration chloride
DRDC = Coefficient of density change
DELZ = Vertical distance between nodes in column
GRAVZ = Absolute value of gravitation acceleration

By free-format it is meant that values may be input in any columns
as long as they are input in order (down the column), they are valid
floating point values, all NNCOL values are input, and a blank(s), a
comma, or a carriage return separates each value.

OUTPUT OPTIONS
PBCGEN creates the file PBCOUT.DAT in the user's current directory.
