PROJECT ALERT NOTICE (TX) Tropical Storm Alberto

Date: Thu, 20 Jun 2024 13:15:20 EDT

Summary: Primary Impact Coastal Flooding due to Storm Surge

Tropical Storm Alberto has made landfall in Mexico, with Texas experiencing coastal storm surges and river flooding. Although rainfall totals were lower than anticipated, rivers have shown a response, prompting the deployment of two crews for measurements. Generally, the hardest-hit areas recorded rainfall totals between 2 to 5 inches over the past 24 hours. Monitoring of stations will continue, and we will respond to any further flooding.
