PROJECT ALERT NOTICE (OH) Minor flooding in Ohio.

Date: Thu, 04 Apr 2024 05:41:50 EDT

Summary: Minor flooding continues in Ohio.

Although the heavy rain has abated, light rain continues throughout Ohio keeping the ground saturated, but smaller drainage basins are receding. Most of the high water is now in our major river basins, which includes the Big Darby, Scioto and Hocking River watersheds.

The one gage that was reporting erroneous data was fixed yesterday. There is no other damage to any other river gages.

OKI will have three crews (five people) from Ohio to measure sites in the St. Marys river basin to fill in gaps in ratings. Another crew will make high flow measurements in the Big Darby River basin and the final crew will make high flow measurements in the Hocking River basin.

No outside additional assistance is needed.
