PROJECT ALERT NOTICE (NJ) Minor to Moderate Flooding

Summary: Minor to Moderate flooding in New Jersey caused by a large coastal storm event.

A large coastal storm produced 2-3 inches of rain in New Jersey with isolated 4+ inches. Heavy rain rates produced localized road flooding. Antecedent conditions were relatively dry.

1 crew consisting of 2 crew members made the highest direct measurement at 1 site on 3/23/24 and 1 crew of 2 crew members made multiple measurements at 1 site for slope rating development on 3/24/24.

No gages were damaged.
