OFFICE OF WATER QUALITY TECHNICAL MEMORANDUM NO. 96.06

Subject: Interpretation of Data on Low-Level Concentrations of
                Pesticides in Water

The document below, "Interpretation of Data on Low-Level Concentrations
of Pesticides in Water," by Paul Capel, Robert Gilliom, and Steven Larson
was prepared upon request of the Office of Water Quality (OWQ).

We ask each of you to send to your District Water-Quality Specialists and
to other who have a need to see or use it.

The National Water-Quality Assessment Program is distributing the
document to their Study Units and other offices directly.

The document will evolve with time as we learn more about interpretation
of low-level data. At some point in the future, we will publish the
document so it can be cited.
