Subject: PUBLICATIONS -- Review paper, "Groundwater in the United
                         States 1975-78," by J. S. Rosenshein

Enclosed is a reprint from the American Geophysical Union's Review
of Geophysics and Space Physics entitled "Groundwater in the
United States 1975-78."  Written by Joseph S. Rosenshein, WRD
District Chief for Kansas, it is an excellent documentation of
advances in ground-water hydrology during that four-year period.
In addition, the paper lists references to 354 of the principal
journal papers and other scientific publications on the subject of
ground-water hydrology produced during that period.
