Subject:  PUBLICATIONS - An introduction to the technology
                         of subsurface wastewater injection,
                         EPA-600/2-77-240.

The subject book was prepared for EPA by Don Warner and Jay Lehr
(NWWA) with input and review from an advisory panel.  As implied
by the title, the book is an introduction to subsurface injection
and does not contain instructions which would enable one to
assemble the detailed specifications of all the components that
make-up an injection well.  Rather, the book discusses the
physical, chemical, and hydraulic concepts of subsurface
injection.

The Ground Water Branch was furnished a limited number of copies
by EPA.  Additional copies may be obtained from NTIS.
