GROUND WATER BRANCH TECHNICAL MEMORANDUM NO. 75.07
Subject: Availability and distribution of report EPA-520/9-74-020
"Compilation of Industrial and Municipal Injection Wells
in the United States." 2 Volumes.
The subject report was recently published by EPA from data
collected by WAPORA, Inc., which drew heavily on data collected
two years earlier by Dr. Donald L. Warner. Dr. Warner collected
the earlier data for the USGS-National Center for Earthquake
Research and only a few copies were assembled in June 1972.
Warner's data are available from NTIS in 3 volumes at $9.00 per
volume (AD 756-641, AD 756-642, and AD 756-643). The EPA
publication contains all of Warner's data plus additional data on
some and data on a few new wells.
EPA furnished the Ground Water Branch with 35 copies of the
report. Because of the limited number available, a copy of the
report (Vol 1 and 2) is enclosed for the 25 WRD District offices
in those States that are listed as having issued permits for
injection wells and to the 4 WRD Regional offices. EPA has also
distributed 50 copies to the Non-Point Source section in each of
the 10 EPA Regional Offices. The WRD Districts in those States
that have no "permitted" injection wells might obtain a copy of
the report from the EPA Regional office if the report is needed.
