We have obtained a limited supply of reprints of the above-named
paper by R. A. Young, economist of Colorado State University, and
J. D. Bredehoeft of the Geological Survey.  Copies are enclosed
for circulation among your technical staff.

The paper describes a simulation program developed by the authors
to aid solution of economic and water-supply problems where
aquifers are intimately associated with streams and where
uncontrolled development of the ground water could reduce
streamflow adversely.  It appeared in Water Resources Research,
Vol. 8, No. 3, June 1972.
