Subject:  PROGRAMS & PLANS - Subsurface disposal of liquid wastes

In recognition of the growing practice of subsurface disposal of
wastes, the attached proposal for a cooperative study, drafted by
the Ohio district, will be of interest to you.  The proposal is
for a statewide appraisal designed to provide a general background
of geologic and hydrologic information tailored to management of
the practice of subsurface waste disposal.
