Subject:  MEETINGS - American Society of Civil Engineers Water
                     Resources Conference, Memphis, Tenn.,
                     January 26-30, 1970.

The Committee on Ground Water Hydrology of the Hydraulics
Division, American Society of Civil Engineers, is sponsoring a
session on "Sea-Water Intrusion into Coastal Aquifers" as part of
the general program on Water Resource Engineering.  The meeting
will be at the Sheraton-Peabody Hotel, Memphis, Tenn., January 26-
30, 1970.

Mr. Russell H. Brown, Regional Research Hydrologist, ACR,
Arlington, Va.  22209, will coordinate the program for the ground-
water session.  Those interested in offering a paper for the
session or desiring further information should contact Mr. Brown
directly by telephone or memorandum.
