WELL-PIPE SAMPLER - MODEL 122
The model 122 Well-Pipe Sampler was developed by Hydro
Products Co. as a nominal diameter, semi-free-flushing water
sampler for obtaining fluid samples from given depths in
ground water studies and other well-pipe applications.
Fabricated of clear high impact Plexiglass, the closure
method is effected by the manner originated by Dr. William G.
Van Dorn of Scripps. The Well-Pipe Sampler weighs only 4
pounds, 2 ounces in air and is messenger-actuated to retrieve
a 2-liter water sample upon closure. The sampler is
specifically designed for hand-lowering inside 5" diameter or
larger well-pipes or other small diameter holes. There are
NO metallic surfaces presented to the sample, and all
exterior parts are fabricated of stainless steel and brass,
completely eliminating rusting and minimizing corrosion.
