Subject:  PERSONNEL - Eligibility for selection from Civil
                      Services Commission register

We are informed that those men who completed the Civil Service
Commission examination for geologists, grades GS-5 and GS-7, have
now received notice as to whether they are established on the
register.

It is requested that you inform this office of the personnel in
your District who received a passing grade and are eligible for
selection from the register.  This information is needed so that
steps can be taken to convert such personnel from Physical Science
Aid for Hydrologic Field Assistant to Geologist GS-5 or GS-7.
