GROUND WATER BRANCH MEMORANDUM NO. 58.34

Subject:  MEETINGS - Conferences on Hydrology of Volcanics in the
                     Western States

Replies to Ground Water Branch Memorandum No. 58.17 indicate that
the week of May 19-24 is preferred by the majority of the
prospective attendees to the conference.  Therefore, the
conference will begin on the morning of May 19 at Boise and end
Saturday evening, May 24 at Boise.  Unlike the conference that was
scheduled for last September, the field trip will be made by
chartered buses rather than by official cars.

It is assumed that the list of papers and attendees, attached to
Branch Memorandum No. 58.3, are still valid and the persons
indicated still plan to attend the conference.  Will each District
office please complete the attached questionnaire and return it to
Mr. Mundorff before April 1, so that plans and arrangements can be
completed.
