Subject:  MEETINGS:  Conference on hydrology of Volcanics in the
                     Western States

It is hoped that by the spring of 1958 the way will be clear for
holding the postponed conference on Hydrology of Volcanics in the
Western States.  If it can be arranged, it is believed that
sometime during the last three weeks of May 1958 would be the most
desirable time to hold the conference.  Therefore, would those who
were scheduled to present papers and those who were scheduled to
attend the canceled conference consider which of the three weeks
would be most satisfactory for the conference.  Each attendee
should then submit (with a copy to this office), his preference of
dates to Mr. Mundorff at Boise, Idaho so that a new schedule can
be arranged for this conference.
