Subject:  TEST DRILLING - Reports

         Ground Water Branch Memorandum 56.27 dated March 1, 1956,
subject:  TEST DRILLING - Monthly Report is hereby rescinded.

In the future, it will only be necessary to provide the following
information in connection with test drilling contracts processed
outside the Surveys Washington office (i.e. by General Services
Administration, Area Management offices, etc.).

     1.  Effective date of contract

     2.  Actual or estimated costs

This information should be submitted as soon as practicable after
the contract has been awarded.
