<purpose>This dataset consists of water well locations, selected well-construction data, and hydrologic data, that are based on permit transactions submitted to the State Engineer Office, Division of Water Resources, Colorado Department of Natural Resources. Reported depth-to-water measurements for selected wells were used to prepare a map of the long-term regional water table in the Raton Basin, in the northern part of Las Animas County, Colorado.</purpose>
