This dataset is a representation of the depth in feet to bedrock as reported in the
driller's log for the Water Wells Database of the Tennessee Department of
Environment and Conservation (TDEC), Division of Water Supply (DWS). The
coverage "Superfund GIS - Private Well Locations for Tennessee" was used to
provide locations while a field retrieval from the DWS database was used to
provide depths in feet.
			</abstract>
			<purpose>To get an approximation of the depth in feet to bedrock at any given location in
the state of Tennessee.
			</purpose>
			<supplinf>Procedures_Used:
The Private Well Locations coverage was merged with the depth in feet to bedrock
field from the DWS database. Records which had a 0 or a missing value
in the DTBI field were deleted. The remaining points were left in the
coverage as is.
