		<descript>
This digital geospatial dataset documents the fault traces in the Anza and Terwilliger area of southwest Riverside County, California, that were modified from Moyle (1971) by Woolfenden and Bright (1988, figure 8). The fault information is used to help assess ground-water level changes in the area of Anza and Terwilliger between 2004 and 2005.
			<purpose>This dataset documents the locations of faults in Anza and Terwilliger area of Riverside County, California. The data set is used to assess the potential effect of faults on ground-water levels, flow and chemistry within the region.</purpose>
			<supplinf>This faults data set is one of three data sets that comprise the "Water-level changes between fall 2004 and spring 2005 in Anza-Terwilliger area, Riverside County, California".</supplinf>

				<horizpar>The accuracy of the compiled digital line features in the data set is based upon the accuracy of source maps which generally are compiled to meet National Map Accuracy Standards. Due to the nature of the original figure spanning over two pages, there is potential for increased horizontal error where images were edge matched. Every effort was made to accurately edge match the seam to keep the integrity of the line work, additionally horizontal positional accuracy of line features in the data set were tested by visually comparing to digital source maps using GIS.</horizpar>
